It is the beginning, as well as the conclusion of every congregation of Allah’s remembrance, and in the celebration of the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Whoever makes a habit of reciting it or listening to it will be encompassed by the mercy and blessings of Almighty ALLAH. It acts as healing for many bodily and spiritual diseases. It is the very basic surah which every muslim memorize it first. Every supplication starts with it, after which other appeals are added if desired. It is recited in each rakat of salÄh (regular prayer) and after each salah. Surah Al-Fatiha is the most important duÄ (supplication or appeal to AllÄh) for a Muslim.
This chapter is known by more than just one or two names. My latest project: 'Daily Muslim' app - Prayer times, Qibla, Quran, Daily Goals, and more- Download for iOS. No matter however difficult the situation is, it will make it all easy and heal all your diseases effectively. Act on this spiritua practice everyday and pray for your need. That is recite it 21 times after Fajr salah, 22 times after Zohar salah, 23 times after Asr salah, 24 times after Maghrib salah and 10 times after Isha salah. Although it only consists of 7 verses, but still explains the greatness of the Almighty ALLAH in a very comprehensive way and it is also a great means of supplication to ask Allah to keep us on the right path.Īccording to Imam Ghazali’s recommendation, the Surah Fatiha should be recited 100 times a day. It also has the honor of being the first Surah to be fully known. Initially, it was the fifth chapter that was revealed, but after Furqan e Hameed was gathered, it was placed at the beginning. It is necessary to recite it in the salah. On the other hand, it also serves as a supplication prayer in the beginning of Salah. Al-Fatiha itself means “The opening” since this chapter appears right at the beginning of the Holy Quran and serves as a gateway to read the Qur’an Majeed. So it is called a Makki and Madini Surah of the Holy Quran, which means few verses were discovered on the Apostle of God (Allah) while he was in Makkah, that is, before the migration to Madina and few after migration to Madina. It is connected with both the Mecca and Madina.
